Solar Activity Generally the solar activity was not very high and remained in the same level as the last week. Yaji-san at KSC, however, reports a lot of jet phenomena and rapid expansion of active region (NOAA7519) and a few flares. 2. Errors and Troubles 6-1. BCS error 2 Jun. Pass2 --> recovered by KSC tohbans in the following pass. 6-2. Replo. error On 31 May pass5, the X-band was not locked and the replo data could not be received. The cause was some trouble in the receiver at KSC. This problem was fixed on the following days but the datailed situation is still uncertain at the moment for us. 6-3. Missing of some DSN contacts in the list of DSN schedule after krasm. Occasionally a comment "TKG PAS R/M DEMO" is atatched in the activity field of some DSN contacts in the final and preliminary schedule which we got from RASM. The IDL procedure executed after RASM access omits the passes with this comment. Message from J.Espnueva san says that those passes are totally normal passes for us. 7. Hikitsugi 7-1. We had not recieved 1 DSN data,yet. DOY 146(26-May) Goldstone17 05:28 - 05:39UT We requested to transmit by Fax,e-mail and RASM on (Sat)5-Jun. 7-2. We send the cancelation request of DSN contacts by e-mail, RASM and FAX. We received a mail from Diem Tu saying that he doesn't need FAX anymore. He also hopes to receive the ASTD request by RASM. 7-3. The next STT Timer Set is scheduled for Tuesday, June 8. 7-4. Tohbans for week 23: SSOC: Ishido, Hiraoka, KSC: Yaji, Shiomi 8. Others, at the Monday meeting; 8-1. The cancelation request to DSN shuld be sent by the following methods First request -- RASM & e-mail(automatically) cancel of Strawman -- RASM & e-mail cancel of Forcast -- RASM & e-mail cancel of Final -- FAX 8-2. The e-mail to yohkoh@flare1 and RASM mail should be checked by toban and the messages concerning the Yohkoh operartion should be printed and filed and recorded in DSN comunication log note book. 8-3.
