STT Timer Set: STT Timer was set in the pass1, Tuesday. The next setting should be done on 10, August. 3.Errors and Problems: 3-1 BCS SEU Error 930802-0618 (Recovered in Pass2(930803-0308) on the next day) 3-2 Flare Occurence durung SXT Table Upload When SXT table was uploaded in the pass2 on 5 Aug, C6.4 flare occurred. This is a very unusual case. pass: 930804-0205 2:23:41 SXT CNT MAN 2:23:58 DP BC ENA start of writing a SXT new table 2:24:10 SXS flare flag on (C6.4 flare), letting DP into FL/H mode, and starting an IOG #6. 2:24:12 DP BC EXE finish of writing the table data. 2:24:13 SXT TBL WR SXT table write 2:24:18 finish of the IOG, having ignored all the command sent during the 8 sec from the ground. 2:24:18 SXT TBL RE got a result of numerous non-compares. 2:27:06 DP BC ENA start of the second trial of SXT table write, after pondering for 3 minutes. ----- 3-3 FAX DISORDER Because the typhoons struck Kagoshima, telephon line was very crowded. As the result, the fax was very erratic at KSC. 4. Special Operation and Calibration 4-1 A large scale international joint observing campaign was begun on August 3. This is in part responsable for the large number of table changes. 4-2 We have started a program of taking terminator exposures using OG's. For the moment this requires hand editing the OP list to insert the proper commands around the terminator. This operation was done after KSC passes 2-4 on Thursday- Saturday. 4-3 Most other special operations, including the weekly offpointing were not done this week due to the observation campaign. 5.
