Offset pointing The 8' east/west offset pointing was done from pass 2 to 4 on Jan 17. (Mon.) 17-Jan #2 (940117-1343) east 8 arcmin (ROG #23h) (Mon.) 17-Jan #3 (940117-1446) west 8 arcmin (ROG #24h) (Mon.) 17-Jan #4 (940118-0102) normal point (ROG #20h) 5. Errors and problems SXT errors On 17-Jan at pass 1: SXT 'IVD ML' ERROR occured. Recovered by Yobi-Command A, but it could not work. Next, Yobi-Command B recovered the error. pass 2: By recovery plan '1-A', SXT had normal condition again. On 20-Jan at pass 3: SXT 'WRM' ERROR occured. Recovered by Yobi-Commands A and B, but it couldn't succeed. pass 4: By recovery plan '1-A 1.1', SXT had normal condition again. (Note: after meeting, Shimizu-san will check these errors) Flare11 Workstation On 17-Jan. RASM could not be used and modem 'at' command could not be inputted. Recovery by re-booting. On 18-Jan. Computer electricity was down, because of uncorking AC connector. Recovery set on the electricity. KSC S3500 computer On 21-Jan. before PASS 1, 'HARD ERROR' occured. So, S3500 couldn't be operated. This error affected SSOC line QL console. We could not upload SXT Tables on that day. after PASS 5, S3500 was repaired by FUJITSU. The problem was that the head of 8 inch floppy disk driver could not read data. The floopy disk driver has temporarily fixed. This floopy disk driver should be changed by a new one. At KSC a routine NOAA region map didn't come since this year. Everyday, SSOC send NOAA region map by fax. (Note : after meeting, Hudson-san has sent e-mail to Hawaii to send NOAA map to KSC) 6.
