Errors and Problems A BCS error was found at 940223-0103 and recovered at 940223-0206. A BDR error (EROCDE=90, BRECOD=0E) was found during the KSC dump at 940226-0205, which probably came from an SEU, and the error log was dumped and the error flags were cleared at 940226-0412. K.Nomura (FACOM) will check the error log today. SXT Table Printouts: HSH contacted ST and the conclusion was that the table printouts should continue, but on a weekly basis. If possible, the chief observer would enter the print jobs as usual, and once a week somebody would print them out. More clarification on this procedure is needed. following TS's suggestion, the pfd 3.8 printout function is used only when SXT table upload is 4. DSN communication The ISAS gateway was down last weekend during 18 - 21 February and 54 contacts were behind in transmission. ISAS accepted a JPL offer of transmission via tapes, though ISAS was not 100% sure about the software for reading them in the renewed mainframe system. A question from WK; is telemetry data with the DSS 17 source code of hex DB acceptable? We are not aware if it is used in your data processing, or not. Cancellations: The W08 SSOC tohban requested to restore the contacts on DOY 61 (2 March), which were previously allocated for Yohkoh, but did not succeeded. DSN Data Delay: All the data until DOY 50 (19 Feb.) has arrived at ISAS and is in Sirius, except the data of the 16 Feb, Madrid, 1349 - 1359, which was found short of 639 blocks. 5. Hikitsugi STT timer set (cf. 2) Handling email: The e-mail to and from yohkoh@flare1 should be filed in mail/mail_94_w09, and then correspondingly in the succeeding weeks.
