It occurred on March 30 and was corrected. 4.2 Problem With flare15 Disk Drive - One of the Flare15 disk drive power supplies failed on Thursday morning. This resulted in a temporary loss of access to the kermit communication software used by krasm. An alternate version of kermit was made available by H. Hara which allowed krasm to be run successfully. The power supply was swapped out by day's end and computer operations returned to normal. 4.3 Mainframe Shutdown - A scheduled shutdown of Mainframe #2 occurred from Wednesday night until Thursday night. There did not seem to be any prior notification of this shutdown. 4.4 KSC Color Printer - The KSC color printer, which generates the AOS/LOS gd plots, ran out of ink during the week. Sakao san is reportedly handling this problem. 4.5 Question Regarding B-toh Daily Solar Plots - Is the consensus of opinion still in favor of the continued printing of daily NOAA region summary and MTK magnetogram plots on the B-toh printer? 5 DSN COMMUNICATIONS 5.1 Four passes for week 13 and three passes for week 14 were cancelled during the week. We also requested one addtional pass, but the request was turned down by the DSN schedulers. 6 HIKITSUGI 6.1 Yohkoh/Asuka Pass Conflicts - As the Yohkoh and Asuka orbits become closer in phase the two satellites will increasingly be competing for the same set of passes. It will be necessary for the Yohkoh and Asuka tohbans to meet and divide up the passes. A policy should be decided upon for how and when this decision-making will be regularly done. 6.2 Tohbans for W14 (Apr 4-10): SSOC: Takano and van Driel KSC: Magara and Shibata
