 1. Solar Activity -----------------------------------------------------------

    The activity was much the same as last week, staying around A level.
    No remarkable flare occurs during this week.

 2. Standard Operations ------------------------------------------------------

  2.1 SXT Table Uploads : 5 times

      Each time an SXT Table was uploaded a patrol image was taken by executing
      the command `BC 8C 05'.

  2.2 STT Timer Setting

      The STT Timer was set on 3-Oct-95 (Tuesday),
      during pass 951003-0825 ( pass 2) .

 3. Errors & Problems ---------------------------------------------------------

  3.1 SXT Errors

       A SXT error was found in Pass 1 on 6 Oct. and was recovered immediately
      by the command Yobi-C .


  3.2 Error of op_first_guess

       In this week, when we made the OP by op_first_guess,some times we found
     1) The terminator program was in the SAA,
     2) the KSC LOS of next day's first ksc pass was on QT-HI.
       These are out of rules of op_first_guess.

 4. DSN Communications --------------------------------------------------------

  4.1 DSN Final Schedule for W40

      We cancelled 2 DSN contacts from the Final Schedule for W40 (05-Oct).

  4.2 DSN Final Schedule for W41

      We cancelled 6 DSN contacts from the Final Schedule for W41 (05-Oct).

  4.3 DSN Preliminary Schedule for W42

      We cancelled 13 DSN contact from the Preliminary Schedule for W42(07-Oct).

  4.4 DSN Strawman Schedule for W43

      We cancelled 56 DSN contacts from the Strawman Schedule for W43 (07-Oct).

  4.5 Pass additions

      None.

  4.6 Re-transmission requests

      We sent re-transmission requests for data,
      (1)DSS 74, 265/16:29-265/16:38;(3rd request)
      (2)DSS 17, 277/02:53-277/03:02(6 OCT, first request).

 5. Yohkoh/ASCA/SFU Pass Conflicts at KSC -------------------------------------

  5.1 In W40, 9 KSC passes were lost because of the conflicts with ASCA.
      Next week (W41) we expect 6 KSC passes to be lost.

      There were no pass conflicts between Yohkoh and SFU.

  5.2 In Yohkoh eclipses day (24-Oct-95),only one KSC pass (pass 4) will be lost
      because of the 4 times pass conflicts with ASCA.

  6.3 OG Write was done on 3-Oct-95 1 pass for HXT Gain Adjustment .

      The next holiday will be on Sunday, 15-Oct-95.

  8.2 STT Timer Setting

      The next STT Timer should be set on Tuesday, 10-Oct-95.

  8.3 Offpoint terminator images

      If terminators appear in the OP generated by running `op_first_guess'
      then the OP should be faxed to the SXT_CO (Chief Observer) in D-toh.
      The SXT_CO will then inform the SSOC tohbans if offpointing will be
      carried out.  If so, the OP will need to be edited appropriately.

  8.4 Transmission of OP

       Please note that the OP should not be transmitted to KSC during the
       times of SFU passes.  Before transmitting the OP the tohbans should
       check the sheet `Tracking Passes at KSC' to see whether an SFU pass
       is in progress.

  8.5 SXT Patrol Image Dumps

      The command `BC 8C 05(Hex)' should be executed whenever an SXT table
      upload occurs.  This command dumps an SXT patrol image which is needed
      to check the ARS parameters since the Sun is very quiet.
