YOHKOH/ASCA Pass Conflicts at KSC --------------------------------------- In W26, four KSC contacts were lost due to pass conflicts with ASCA. --------------------------- Date(JST) Pass ID --------------------------- 25-Jun-96 960625-0413 26-Jun-96 960625-0310 26-Jun-96 960626-0413 27-Jun-96 960627-0414 --------------------------- Six passes will be lost in W27 due to the conflicts: --------------------------- Date(JST) Pass ID --------------------------- 01-Jul-96 960701-0206 01-Jul-96 960701-0309 04-Jul-96 960704-0204 05-Jul-96 960705-0102 05-Jul-96 960705-0205 06-Jul-96 960706-0206 --------------------------- 6. Special Operations ------------------------------------------------------ None. 7. Holiday Schedule -------------------------------------------------------- The next holiday is 7-July-96 (JST). 8. Hikitsugi Items --------------------------------------------------------- 8.1 Tohbans for W27 KSC : S. Nagata and H. Tonooka SSOC : T. Yokoyama and M. Miyashita 8.2 STT Timer Setting The next STT timer setting is due on 6-July-96 (Sat). 8.3 DSN contacts on weekend Because of cancel due to ROSAT emergency support, the number of DSN passes on Sunday (7 July) will be only one. 8.4 RASM The Krasm sometimes troubled due to unknown reason. We asked the workstation manager to solve the problem, and the manager had to reboot the machine so that we escaped from the trouble. 8.5 Transmission of OPs It is no longer necessary to confirm the transmission of OP/OG files to KSC by checking the printout on the 3rd floor in B-toh. Instead, the time of transmission of the OP/OG files should be noted down. If the SSOC or KSC tohbans notice any failure in transmission of the OP/OG files then it should be reported to Shuto-san and Kosugi-san. 8.6 op_first_guess LOS Medium/High Mode. Please be careful to check the KSC LOS mode during the next day's operations in the OP. 8.7 SXT patrol image dumps A block command `DP BC 8C-05 (hex)' should be executed whenever an SXT Table is uploaded. Since the Sun is very quiet, ARS parameters need to be checked by the SXT patrol images dumped by this command. 8.8 WWW server of DSN The DSN NOCC Information Server (NIS) is now on-line and available for DSN scheduling operations. The URL location is: http://dsn.jpl.nasa.gov/nss This is an additional means of checking the final schedule. The automatic ftp system works very well, and using tail_dsn one can confirm the DSN schedule without using either RASM or the Web. 8.9 RASM switch to flare20. The RASM script, krasm, now works on flare20 and not flare11.
