Akita KSC: S. Akiyama & Sekiguchi 8.2 STT Timer setting See Section 2.1 8.3 Sirius Data Nothing to report. 8.4 Suggestion to DSN selection rule: mail from JPL I understand that you access RASM and choose the passes that are made available to you. We would like you to use the Wallops (WFF) passes as much as possible. In other words, if a pass from one of the DSN sites (Goldstone, Madrid or Canberra) can be substituted by a WFF pass, please use the WFF pass and delete the DSN pass, instead of vise versa. Please understand we are not asking you to give up any coverage but if the same coverage can be accomplished by using WFF instead of the DSN, we would like you to do so. (Albert Chang) 9. Action Items 9.1 Week-42-A/I-1 /Hudson, Lemen, Yoshida/ status: DEFERRED UNTIL JIM'S VISIT T. Yoshida has produced preliminary software to aid in optimizing the Yohkoh DP rate in OPs. The final implementation of Yoshida san's software will probably have to await the next visit to ISAS by Jim Lemen. 9.2 Week-06-A/I-1 /Sterling, Lemen/ status: OPEN -> CLOSED Tohban manual and checksheet to be updated to reflect new DSN procedures for final and real-time schedule cancelations. 9.3 Week-07-A/I-1 /Hudson, Sawq/ status: just issued Sawa-san raised the doubt that the CCD bake-out affect the temperature structure on YOHKOH and hence HXT calibration. This will be investigated in detail and reported by Hudson-san and Sawa-san. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- (Appendix) We had a trouble in sending gbo mail. (gbo_mail) 1. Detail of the trouble When executing gbo_mail at flare1 about 23:30 JST, the program stopped and showed these messages. IDL> gbo_mail,158,140,1,/comment Contact Information for Yohkoh. (The message is different now, but still does not work well) 2. What was happend "gbo_mail" is designed to execute /ys/sxt/idl/register/pb0r.pro insted of /ys/SSWGEN/idl/solar/pb0r.pro. The latter has priority of executing on the current PATH table. Since the former is "proc" and the latter is "function", it made another trouble of executing "gbo_mail". The biggest problem is that the arguments are completely different between two commands. So, we request you to fix this problem. Regards, KSC Tohban: H. Tonooka and S. Akiyama -----------------------------------------------------------------------
