12 May 1996 Serge Savy SXT CHIEF OBSERVER REPORT AND TABLE PLAN SXT CHIEF OBSERVER'S REPORT for Week 19: 6-MAY-96 to 12-MAY-96 SOLAR ACTIVITY Solar activity increased last week with the appearance of AR7962. A CME associated with this region was observed between 17:39-19:29 UT on 5-May by MLSO. Two C-class flares occurred, one on 6-May, the other on 7-May. A tiny new cycle region appeared at the north east, AR7963. SXT INSTRUMENT STATUS There were a couple of SXT bitmaps errors, detected and recovered without problem, and an SEU at pass 4 on Saturday. The SEU error was recovered at pass 5, but it prevented us from uploading the planned table that day. Otherwise SXT has been operational with no problems. CAMPAIGNS No campaigns last week. SEMINARS No regular seminar at ISAS in week 19.
