5 June, 2000 N. V. Nitta CHIEF OBSERVER'S REPORT for Week 23 29-May-00 through 4-Jun-00 GENERAL Solar activity increased as AR 9026 rotated onto the disk. During the second half of the week, there were 6 M-class flares. The two strongest ones on 2 and 3 June (both around 19 UT) were well observed by Yohkoh. SXT TECHNICAL SXT worked fine without apparent problems this week.
