24 June, 2000 B. N. Handy CHIEF OBSERVER'S REPORT for Week 26 19-Jun-00 through 25-Jun-00 GENERAL Solar Activity began to pick up this week, with several M-class flares and numerous C-class flares. Much of the activity emerged from the active region belt in the northern hemisphere, much of which is now drifting over the west limb. SXT TECHNICAL SXT worked fine without apparent problems this week.
