CHIEF OBSERVER'S REPORT for Week 47 13-Nov-00 through 19-Nov-00 A. Takeda, H. Hudson GENERAL Solar activity was moderate this week. The Sun produced three M flares. AR9231, which appeared on the east limb early this week (w47) and now is located around central meridian, showed remarkable magnetic evolution yielding two M- and several C-class flares. This region is now the target of both the ASP and MEOC campaigns. SXT TECHNICAL No new problems this week. Pointing and roll appeared to remain stable.
