Dead quiet solar conditions; no M's or X's.

The newest nugget, "A most peculiar high-energy event," describes
a mm-wave event observed by visitor Silja Pohjolainen - the evidence
strongly suggests long-term trapping of relativistic electrons in
a (very) faint arcade structure seen by SXT. 

CAMPAIGNS 

No campaigns during the interval and none planned at present.
We remain on the alert for sigmoids as a "target-of-opportunity".

There are no formal campaigns scheduled for this week, although we
are on the alert for sigmoid active regions.  Test observations for
HESSI are under way this week, currently focusing on AR 9330.

On the basis of discussion and some analysis, we're starting a new
policy. The 30-sec exposures will be taken only a few times a week
in conjunction with the weekly diffuser cals, which we'll run overnight
instead of just for two orbits.

A '*' signifies that the date of the table ID does not agree with
the JST date of the pass in question.

Continuing requests:

KSC & SSOC Tohbans: If any KSC passes are likely to be cancelled (for
example due to typhoons) or an SXT table cannot be uploaded for any 
reason, please telephone and e-mail the Chief Observer immediately.
(sxt_co@isass0.solar.isas.ac.jp, copy to sxt_st@flare2.solar.isas.ac.jp).

KSC Tohbans: In general flare mode supersedes table upload, i.e. if a
flare is in progress please do not upload a new table, and contact the
chief observer. Normally it is OK to go ahead with the planned table
without change on the next pass, if it is available. Chief observers
should keep an eye on this.
