CHIEF OBSERVER'S REPORT for Week 22 28-May-01 through 3-Jun-01 N. Nitta GENERAL Solar activity was again quite low as far as flares were concerned, but various eruptive phenomena were seen. AR 9475 became a nice sigmoid on 2 June, but its CME association has not been confirmed yet. SXT TECHNICAL No new problems. SXT SCIENTIFIC We were in Boston to attend the AGU 2001 Spring meeting, so no SXT COs were present at ISAS. As a result, the nugget for 1 June 2001 is not yet in place as of Monday monrning, Japan time. We hope that it will be sneaked in from Reykjavik or Glasgow today or tomorrow.
