LONG EXPOSURE STUDY OF QUIET CORONA Temperature contour lines are overlaid on each image to guide the eye. In general the temperature histogram in the lower right is quite reasonable for the quiet corona for this stage of the cycle -- I think. Note fairly strong inverse correlation between temperature and emission measure which breaks down for the XBP features. Hard to see any likely correlation with chromospheric network -- but it may be too early to say. The SXT is quite a good instrument for studying the solar minimum corona if one is willing to average enough data. L. Acton 5/28/95
