This documents an apparent increase in the stray light level, somewhere between 16:35 and 23:15 23-Jan-98. The plot shows the totals of the standard DPE=2 NaBan images that happened to be on line. The increase is about 5.1% or so. It is enough to put the "superlong" Al.1 images, at DPE=27, into saturation at the peak of the brightest pinhole. This is all the time I have for documentation right now, but I think that it's clear enough that we should reset the stray-light management system. HSH 2-Feb-98
