****** No canopus periods ******

 Dates when the Yohkoh roll reference star,
Canopus, was not being observed for at least
part of the day.  During the no-canopus periods
the roll reference of Yohkoh depended on the
gyros.  As the mission progressed and gyro
drift increased the spacecraft roll attitude,
and knowledge of roll attitude, degraded.
This degradation became especially severe
(up to about 20 degrees) in 2001.

 This table is not exhaustive.  There are days,
e.g. 16-20 Feb 2001, when no-canopus records
are missing from the operations records.
