Dear XBP campaigners, Yesterday the coordinates of the SXT field of view were changed to include the small bright region that is just north of disc centre. This region looks quite interesting, but it has decreased in intensity and will move out of our field of view on 11 April. However, we intend to stay at the new coordinates. Karen and Gopal, SXT will have no problems continuing the bright point campaign until the 15th. We will be pleased to extend the campaign. Regards, Serge Savy (PS For those of you that receive the Yohkoh operation reports from the Tohbans at KSC, note that the coordinates mentioned in their e-mail for pass 2 were incorrect. Here are the correct coordinates again: Heliographic N9.7, E0.8 (epoch 3-Apr-96 03:13) Angular -13.2, 266.1 (arc sec E, N relative to Sun centre) ) sxt_co@isass0.solar.isas.ac.jp Tel: +81 427 69 4531 Fax: +81 427 69 4532 Savy(home): +81 427 69 4591
