YLA/SXT data Search and Download Service
YLA provides SXT data in two formats. One is the XDA(SDA) format,
which is the Yohkoh-standard format under the SolarSoft environment,
and created on a 1 file per day basis.
The other is the FITS format, which allows process with more general
softwares for analyzing astrophysical data. In our archive FITS
files are provided on a 1 file per image basis.
These two types of files are distributed from separate search pages.

This service access to the following archives:
- Level_2 SXT Scientific Composites(SSCs) in XDA format.
- Level_2 SSC uncertainty arrays in XDA format.
- Level_1 Full Frame Images(FFIs) in XDA format.
- Level_1 Partial Frame Images(PFIs) in XDA format.
- Level_1 PFIs in FITS format (gzip-ed tarballs for 1 day).
- Search for FITS files (except PFIs).
This service access to the following archives:
- Level_3 Browse images (for movie) in FITS format.
- Level_2 SXT Scientific Composites(SSCs) in FITS format.
- Level_2 SSC uncertain arrays in FITS format.
- Level_1 Full Frame Images(FFIs) in FITS format.
Currently, PFIs in FITS format are provided as daily tarballs, i.e. a series of
FITS files of the same day are tar-ed, gzip-ed, and distributed from the
above search for daily files.
